In the app (fastest)
- Open Case Diary (Android app or the web app) and sign in.
- Go to Account → Delete account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
If you can't sign in
Email hello@thecasediary.in from your registered email, or write the registered mobile number in the message and we will verify it by sending a one-time code to that number before deleting anything. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile (name, mobile number, email, password hash, Bar registration number) and sign-in access.
- Every chamber you are the only member of, with all its cases, hearings, fee entries, notes, clients, documents and share links.
- Your membership in other chambers (their data stays with them), and any share links you created for those chambers' cases.
- Pending one-time codes. Message records are kept without any link to you (the recipient is masked) for up to [24] months for billing and abuse prevention.
What is kept
- Nightly backups still contain the deleted data until they are overwritten, within 14 days. They are not used except to recover from a disaster.
- Records we must keep by law (for example tax invoices once paid plans exist).
This cannot be undone. If you own a chamber that has other members you must first remove them or hand the chamber over — the app will tell you. Download or keep copies of any documents you still need before deleting. If you only want to stop emails, remove your email under Account → Email alerts instead.
